How does a swimming pool heat pump work?
A pool water heat pump operates by extracting heat from the outside air and transfers it to the pool water using extremely reliable and very energy efficient technology. A heat pump ensures that the swimming pool is heated to the optimum temperature and maintains this hear throughout the swimming pool use. The key to ensuring this temperature is consistent is to ensure the correct size of heat pump is selected and that it is professionally installed.
What are the main differences between a traditional heat pump and the Heatinverter (link)?
The speed of a brushless motor is synchronised to the frequency of the AC current it is thus possible for the Heatinverter compressor to be run at different speeds.
The Heatinverter uses a microcontroller then samples the ambient air temperature and adjusts the speed of the compressor appropriately.
